a new color picker app that uses the .draw() method of the bitmap object thingy to copy the color data from a movieclip into a bitmap that you can grab the color values from (at least that's all it does with bitmaps inside of movieclips) and an "impressionist" painting tool thanks to the same new functionality as the color picker.

note the sample may take a little while to download, as they contain several uncompressed PNGs. but now you'll see that you can change images on the fly and grab the pixel data. cool stuff!
